Summary: Repeat customer. Visiting regularly since 2002. Gilbert’s has come a long way. No comparison to what was there since our 1st trip to the Keys. It now earns the title “resort”. Love this place. They have come from a watering hole, to a cathedral of a gateway to the Keys. New addition of Cabana area truly gives it a polishing touch for the private sunset memory. See you again soon!

Summary: Me and my fiancé came a few times to tiki bar, but never stayed in the hotel. This time we decided to book a room and I loved everything about Gilbert’s! Check in was easy and took only a couple of minutes. We got room 112 and it was very clean, smell good, ac worked perfectly! Even bed and pillows were pretty comfy. View was really nice too. What also surprised me it was very quiet at night, we slept like babies :) Oh, and we saw a pack of dolphins passing by so close to the dock - it was fantastic! We are going back next month!

Summary: This is a fun place. Friendly staff. Lots to do. Great bar, restaurant, location. Waterfront Dining. I really like the vibe here. It's an old school resort and hotel, but clean. I love it. We'll be back.

Summary: That was our third monthly weekend in a row. We do love almost everything at this poinn, but there are few things that could have be better 1. Breakfast- with nightly rate over $300 at least some hot food like eggs, sausage, pancakes ect ect would be nice. 2 . Cabana place is great, wonderful and our the main reasons we are keep coming back, but maybe bigger sign that is private can help. Amount of people just wondering and trying to simple walk in and get comfortable is enormous. And we are truly very upset to see the cabana girl go. She is the most nicest and hardworking girl we ever saw.

Summary: Love it! We have been coming to the Gilberts every month for a weekend and enjoying every single time. Cazebo still the main reason for us to come back over and over again. Will see you, Gilbert, last weekend of july

Summary: Cabanas are the best. Food good. Mattress was horrible. Whole in wall and pile of hair in the bathroom were not a good thing to see. However, back to the beginning- Cabanas covered for minuses.
