Positive: the location is perfect, up on the hill, but you have to fight for it. parking is possible near the church. don't try to go to the hotel unless you have a very small car. it is max 400-500 m from the church. the host was nice, offering two beers for us.

Negative: it rained almost all day, but italy is beautiful all the same.

Positive: We were on a tour around France and Italy for a week and a half, and this was the best place we stayed in. We actually didn't want to leave it, so incredible it was. The apartment is great, the view on the lemon garden and the sea from the windows is mesmerizing, and the host Sara was so nice. She left some things to eat with coffee and even beers in the fridge for us. She is a nice person and really cares about her guests. Everything was brilliant about our stay.

Positive: Comfortable, very nice host, very nice view. The host gave good parking advice for parking near trains to Portofino.

Negative: It is very difficult to park in the private parking space, which must be accessed through a very narrow and steep ramp. Unless you know in advance where to turn, getting in there needs complex maneuvers.
