Charming western themed unit located in our barn. Yes, a real barn...cattle and horses on the property of 38 acres. Beautiful location 7 miles west of Walla Walla, but right in the middle of our best wineries. Besides livestock, we have regular visits from deer, turkey, geese, pelicans and occasionally a moose.
Historic Whitman Mission is just down the road. Famous site of the missionary massacre in 1847.

Directions-take New Hwy 12 east from Lowden and turn right on Old Hwy 12. Follow the Whitman Mission signs. Turn right on Swegle Road. Cross railroad tracks. Turn right on Double River Road. We are at the end of the road on the left. Turn in at the brick pillars.

Summary: My husband & I have zero complaints about this place. It was so quiet that we kept stepping outside to see if we could hear noise of any kind. The flock of turkeys every morning warmed our hearts. The unit was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host was very responsive to inquiries...the hot tub was a bonus! It was our anniversary and we were in the heart of wine country, close to all the wine tasting we could want to enjoy, while being in the peaceful country surroundings. We would absolutely stay at this farm again without question.

Summary: Great stay! Quaint place with view of farm with cows! Horses were close by and we also saw a flock of turkeys. Hosts were awesome. We loved the pellet stove. We will be back!
