Positive: They made a special effort to accommodate dietary restrictions for breakfast. The building is hundreds of years old and oozes charm Enjoyed the stroll up the nearby hill with impressive views

Negative: You eat breakfast in the room, but we had a family room and didn’t have enough table space or chairs so you end up having breakfast on your bed (fine if you want breakfast in bed though)

Negative: Breakfast had to be eaten in room no facilities to sit and eat so had to sit on the bed!! Bar hours were awful closed at 1900 so unable to have a meal

Positive: We would like to make note that the receptionist offered to carry one small but heavy suitcase up the stairs to our room and, we were very grateful for that. We liked our room and it was all well prepared and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well

Negative: Breakfast could not be served as there was a major problem in the kitchen. We had been told that we could take breakfast over the road but we needed to journey on before the first starting time. Although cups, spoons and coffee sachets were provided, there were no milk sachets and no sugar sachets. We felt that at the very least, milk sachets or a small jug of fresh milk could have been placed on the tray. We did drink the black coffee but for me not with any enthusiasm.

Summary: We have stayed before, and we would come again. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Positive: Property was lovely and not in bad order for an old building, couple of small issues though, no towels in the room and the heating system must of gone off at 10pm and did not come on in the morning so was a tad chilly.

Summary: Staff could not do enough!! Really friendly and the food was great.
