Negative: The bed was well used as it sagged in the middle. The sheets were worn with a hole in it. I would have appreciated a later check out time.

Positive: The hotel has an electronic check-in system. If you figure it out, everything is easy and very convenient. However, it is not very usual. We found it convenient that you do not worry about the keys and can open on different devices. But it is unusual and you need to monitor the charge of your phone. Although the reviews scared us that there was no air conditioning, the temperature in the room was acceptable. There is a modern fan that works well. The location is just wonderful, a quiet area, with lots of shops and cafes, and transport and the station are very close. We enjoyed it very much and fell in love with Genoa. The room was clean, they also allowed us to check in a little early since we arrived very early. There is nice free coffee

Negative: The bathroom is great but the shower was a bit broken and splashed water and the lack of a separate cheap one made the whole room wet. An extra rug is needed here. Maybe it's worth adding to the instructions that the door opens automatically if your phone is nearby in the app. We didn't figure it out right away and thought the door was broken.

Summary: Great place for a few nights in the city. Worth it.

Positive: A good location for Genoa - slightly out of the busy areas downtown with a community (Brignole) on the doorstep. Everything needed was nearby. Also close to Genova Brignole station - a 10 minute walk. The room was a conversion with a pod bathroom.

Negative: After the initial personable welcome - there was no staff contact. All access via mobile phone. There are security cameras, but without staff onsite you are beholden to fellow guests to conduct themselves appropriately. Roaring air vents from the Mercato Orientale behind worked 24hrs a day proved to be a an ongoing distraction. Closing the window only stopped any ventilation.

Summary: Functional: enjoyed the close church bells and local area.

Negative: Room was much smaller than depicted on photographs. The bathroom was not acceptable as the toilet seat and toilet lid did not stay up and had to rest on your back when going to the bathroom.

Negative: The towels, bed sheets didn’t seem clean, they were not visibly dirty though
