Positive: Location is good. Front desk reception and restaurant staff is friendly and helpful.

Negative: Parking facility is not sufficient. I was refused to use the basement parking by the watchman and I was told it was reserved for hotel staff and guests have to park in open in summer heat. Room floor was not sparkling clean and cleaning service can be improved. Breakfast food options for vegetarians are not satisfactory: No cheese and paneer items available. Everyday the same cut fruits: watermelon, pineapple and muskmelon, even in the month of May (that is mango season), it was not on the breakfast menu. The coffee maker was not there in the restaurant area so one can't enjoy the coffee as per individual taste. Cheesecakes and pastries are not there. Finding a swimming pool in the hotel is not an easy task. I was surprised to find the food menu card with pricelist inside the elevator instead of proper arrow marks and details to access different parts of the hotel. In spite of booking the room with a view, views are not clear because the fixed glass in front is not clear and has dirt and scale on it.

Summary: Ok. Passable. Not up to the mark.

Positive: High tea & snacks @ 6pm. Kids loved Chilli Honey Potato dish for dinner.

Negative: Breakfast Buffet dishes were not all that great.

Positive: It was our Anniversary and Hotel Team has provided cleaned decorated room with cake and celebration. Also in morning breakfast they brought complimentary pastry for my kids. Hotel staff was very co-operative.

Positive: Loved the ambience when entering the hotel. The breakfast was excellent The outside staff were very helpful, as were most if the interior ones.

Negative: After entering, when we were feeling really happy we went to the reception desk. He took basic details then waved us off to sit in some chairs and wait. We waited and waited. No reason was given. Eventually he came over ran through a few final points very quickly and told us our luggage would be waiting for us in our room. It wasn't. It appeared half an hour later. This really took the edge off our positive first impressions. So much so that we seriously investigated moving elsewhere. In the reception hall is a trolley with complimentary drinks. If we had been offered this and given a reason for our wait then the whole experience would have been improved. The room although good was fully sealed and felt stale after we had been in it for a day. No obvious extraction in the bathroom. Now we know the hotel better check in wouldn't be an issue. We would stay here again or use another in this hotels family. However we would need a balcony. The hotel is not on a Tuk tuk route and is a good walk from the town. Good for the able, limiting if you have incapacities and no car.
