Positive: Staff very friendly. Hotel rooms are amazing. Breakfast and dinner was fabulous. Great location for exploring.

Negative: Check in process very annoying. After several hours in a car to get there, 3 reception staff insist I logon via my phone and check in myself, while they are paid to stare at me like it is beyond them to be nice and welcome me properly. And there are so many questions you are expected to answer, just frustrating. Technology is great, but the human service is more important. It was so frustrating. It got my stay off to a bad start.

Negative: The location is pretty far. Many staffs are from local so it is not very professional. Buggy may take some time to come. Consider to book a room with pool since the weather is cool in summer and cold in winter which maynot suitable to swim

Positive: Great breakfast, beautiful and stunning view and the staffs are very friendly, many of them are ethnic minority and great to hear their stories.

Negative: The setup and facilities are relatively nice. However, most facilities are an extra charge with a high price not comparable to other resorts in the region which are much more reasonable. These facilities also have limited opening hours. This seems counter productive for the area as the facilities are a major attraction to bring people to this resort. The check-in wasn't very user friendly with a lack of information being provided, instead being told to just check their app, which isn't very easy to find information on.

Summary: It is beautiful with friendly staff but the operational issues make me not want to come back

Positive: This place is a “little paradise”. Very relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking views all around. Located just next to the Mam Xoi viewpoint… which is the place to be for sunrise. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff was attentive - great smiles - and went the extra-mile for every request, which made the stay even more enjoyable. And last but not least… the food was Value for money is unbeatable

Negative: It’s a pity the spa facilities close at 5pm, otherwise my rating would for sure be a 10. One could not enjoy more a spa treatment than after spending the day exploring the surrounding area.

Positive: Easily one of the best hotels I’ve experienced From the intricate bamboo architecture to the thoughtful design details and the beautifully maintained landscape, this Garrya truly exceeded my expectations. Even before making the long drive to reach the resort, I had a feeling it would be worth the journey and it absolutely was. The Villa & Surroundings I stayed in Villa 238, which came with a private pool framed by the most breathtaking rice terraces I’ve seen in Vietnam. The villa itself had a separate sitting room and bedroom, and the calming palette of colors and textures created a sense of grounding and serenity. Pools & Landscape The main pool area felt like a dream. I never once grew tired of the view, which was as captivating on the first day as it was on the last. Happy hour here was a highlight, the perfect way to slow down and soak in the scenery. Dining Experience Breakfast, included in our package, felt more like an indulgent early brunch. The menu changed daily, offering new dishes each morning so it never felt repetitive. We often skipped lunch simply because breakfast left us so satisfied. Dinner was equally memorable, with a wide variety of dishes, each one delivering on both flavor and presentation, nothing disappointed. Wellness & Activities At the spa, I tried the hydrotherapy and vitality boost treatments—an experience in itself and one I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting. The gym was another surprise: with its panoramic views, I often forgot I was working out, too distracted by the landscapes stretching out in front of me. Hospitality The staff made the stay even more special. Always attentive, smiling, and ready to help, I never had to wait long for buggies or service. A special mention to Paul and Chun (F&B Director), who went above and beyond to make my birthday trip unforgettable. Their efforts added a personal touch that I appreciated.

Positive: Hello. It was really wonderfull. From the start to the end. We were vey happy and we will recommend this hotel to all our friends from Belgium who will come to visit the North of Vietnam. We recommend to stay at least 3 nights to enjoy the hiking area and one of the best rice field of the North of Vietnam. The room, the amenities and most important the staff at the reception like Paul (very helpful in French who has always been available physically and by WhatsApp) and all the people at the bar/reception / restaurants / Spa . Everyone was very kind. What an example of great hospitality and high quality. Thank you so much. Couple from Belgium
