Positive: Fantastic location, very helpful and friendly staff , great breakfast , fancy water machine.

Negative: The whole place is a little tired and is in need of a bit of care, with not much effort this place could be superb, weeds on the balcony tired paint on the walls broken curtain rails etc nothing that really affected our stay but for the price I expected better. We knew that as we were staying on a Sunday the restaurant wasn’t open, but neither was the bar and in the sweltering summer heat we couldn’t even get any drinks or ice. I certainly would not stay here again

Positive: Very friendly staff. Superb breakfast fantastic choice.Lovely choice for an evening meal.

Negative: Disappointed that the pool didn't open until 10am. Would have liked to have had a swim before breakfast.

Positive: Loved the pool and breakfast. Grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Room was fine for a one night stay but definitely needs renovation/deep cleaning. Baby- and dog-friendly with free parking is a huge plus :)

Negative: The beds were quite hard and uncomfortable and there was a lot of mould on pipes in the wardrobe so we didn’t hang our clothes there.

Positive: Everything, location, beautiful Manor House, it had a lovely pool and sun beds outside. Gardens were fabulous. Rooms in manor very nice, beautifully furnished, very eco friendly. Food for dinner at night in the restaurant was absolutely fabulous, and not too expensive. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Negative: Our room was lovely but the enormous beams made it difficult to get into bed as on side you had to really duck your head and not to forget if you got up in the night, and in the bathroom it was a bit of a problem getting in and out of the bath/shower, but managed it ok. Not a complaint in any way, just the way it was. Extremely small pillow also which was very lumpy. Not in keeping with everything else.

Summary: Excellent. Absolutely beautiful place with excellent facilities. Fab food.

Positive: Location, service very welcoming & the dinner menu was delicious. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that . Beautiful grounds to walk around.

Negative: Room 207 was very hot and air-conditioning was not particularly effective, room had a desk fan we used overnight but not much better.
