Positive: The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the entrance, to the rooms, to the pool facing the jungle! To make it even better is the service: attentive, genuine and always with a smile, thank you to every member of staff who made our two days at Gandatera an oasis of relax 😌 from the chef cooking our meal to the people taking care of our room and welcoming us back to the hotel every time with a smile and a nice chat. We loved the quietness of the hotel and the proximity to the centre: just a 7-10min ride by motorbike. The rooms are very comfortable with fridge and free water and fresh towels everyday if you need. Would definitely book it again for a stay in Ubud!

Negative: Wifi was down for 6 hours, otherwise I would give a 10. But that i something what can happen anywhere...

Positive: Very clean , light bright property. Welcoming staff always happy to provide information and help if required. The pool was clean and breakfast tasty.

Negative: To access property , pool area and breakfast area you need climb steep steps . The area is remote and no dining facilities unless you travel.

Summary: A lovely clean property , accessibility issues if you are not fully mobile . Need to consider transport for meals other

Positive: We had an incredible stay at Gandaterra! At first we were a bit curious as the hotel didn’t have a lot of Reviews on Booking.com. But this place is a hidden secret spot for a perfect stay in Ubud. The breakfast(for me especially the banana Pancake :)) was amazing, the staff was so helpful and pleasent. The rooms were wonderful and clean, as well as the pool. The family & the whole team was wonderful! Thanks again Laura & Niklas
