Positive: This was just like staying with a loved one in your family. Ursula was a gracious hostess offering ideas and information about things to do in the area. Our room had a beautiful view of the valley with the river just outside our balcony. The location is ideal and just a short drive to so many fun things to do in The Black Forest. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and fresh.

Negative: There was construction next door and though it was quiet while we were there, the barricades made parking a bit odd.

Summary: Quiet village stay with awesome breakfast and gracious hostess.

Positive: The place is stunning. The breakfast was amazing. The host reminded me of my oma. We stayed here whilst on our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place

Positive: I wanted peace and quiet. This place is perfect for that! There is a river right in front and walking paths leading into the Black Forest. The house is safe, peaceful and quiet. The host is very sweet!

Negative: This is not a place for those without a car. I would recommend having a car, even if it is a rental car. There is no train station nearby. There are very few buses even during the week. I don't even want to talk about the weekend. I have walked to the train station many times, but I would not recommend doing this. There is no walking path. You have to walk along the road and it can be dangerous at night as there is no lighting. If you do, definitely bring a warning light!
