Summary: Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very scenic area. Great views

Summary: I was unaware that you had to bring your own bedding, bath and kitchen towels, extra paper towels and tp. This was rather inconvenient coming from out of state. I take responsibility because I didn't diligently read all the fine print, but found out through an email that arrived shortly before arrival (not hours, but days). I've never encountered this before. Beds were nice and comfy however. No nice couch to relax on, only a wooden table to watch the tv. Would choose to not return.

Summary: Great and welcoming host, Ms. Veronica! Beautiful comfy cabin only 2 minutes walk to the crystal clear frio river! Very clean cabin, relaxing songs from different kinds of birds will greet you every morning! Campfire at night adds warmth to the cozy spring season! It's like we own the river, it's so private and clean! It is also located a few minutes from Garner State Park. Cabin is equipped with full kitchen! Found our niche, thank you Frio River Cabin for a very unforgettable and pleasantly memorable spring break! We had a blast!
