Summary: Nice place to stay, staff are friendly although there're language barrier. They changed my room as requested because first room smelled little mold. Balcony is ok, but little dirty with bird poops. Overall it's not too bad for the price paid. It's not located in Sigirya town, 2km+ to lion rock.

Summary: Very nice hotel, beautiful swimming pool, nice and clean rooms and bathroom and nice breakfast. Only cons are wifi only reachable in reception area and dinner not so good (but there is a great kothu restaurant next door). The guys at the restaurant are extremely friendly, specially Janith, Achille and Lavishan (probably misspelt them all). 10 minutes away from Sigiriya on tuk tuk.

Summary: We stayed one night only at FWV and we recommand it for sure. First the staff was great: helpful and friendly! Second the Hotel is well located: 5 minutes to go to the Lion's Rock with a tuktuk. And We caught a bus to Dambulla right in front of the main entrance. Last but not least: what a pleasure to enjoy the pool by 37 degrees outside! Thanks for this stay

Summary: Small details would make it even better, room was huge and nicly situated. I would recomend to friend. I would offer wider selection during breakfast.

Summary: We stayed only for a night and everything was fine. The only issue we had was the location; on Expedia map it was shown almost at the entrance of sigiriya however in google maps it was 10 mins drive away which happened to be correct. We hired a tuktuk and worked out fine.

Summary: Impressive rooms! Large and comfortable! I was particularly impressed with the remote setup for the lighting and room devices. Bad news though, cold water during the stay. Was hot for 2 minutes and then cold showers after. This should be an easy fix given how much they invest in the luxury of each room. Also wifi was only available in the lobby. That's a large blow. You can't expect people to want to leave their rooms for the wifi, especially when there are mosquitos outside. Still a good value, but they need to fix some things.
