Positive: Lovely apartment across the ground floor in a grand old house. Fantastic location within short walking distance to the city centre. The host was lovely and responsive to questions. Great garden and fish pond available to guests. We had a visit from the owners lovely French bulldog.

Negative: Parking zone system in Gent. Please be aware that the property is located in the Orange parking zone and low emission zone, which requires administrative actions from car owners/ drivers. Street parking is also pay parking.

Positive: Our room consisted of two separate rooms - living room with Kitchen equipped and the other bedroom with toilet and bath. The rooms were clean, cosy and the location is ideal 10 min walk to train station as well as the city center.

Positive: Great welcome and a lot of attention by the host (welcome wine and things in the fridge). Easy atmosphere. Close to station and walking distance from the center. The flat has a lot of charactere.

Negative: Having the room+bathroom separated from the kitchen/lounge was a bit of an inconvenience. However all the rest was more than compensating this.

Accommodation is a combination of old world charm and modern, and the garden lounge is a peaceful oasis in the city. Complementary drinks in the fridge is a generous gesture.

Positive: Our hosts were super welcoming . They let us leave our luggage there as we arrived early and left generous snacks and drinks for our stay. They decor is funky and the garden lovely. One small issue sorted out immediately we need ruined it. The location is a short walk from all the sights - or two bus stops. We loved Ghent and we loved our apartment.
