Positive: We stayed here 8 nights and It was very Nice and chill, our bungalow was big and clean with a sitting area in the front. There is a workout space aswell. The hostel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by the green and very close to the beach. The hosts are very easy-going and welcoming too and will be there to make your stay great and give you Nice tips!

Positive: Wifi in general was great. The house was large, every spacious but it felt like staying in garage. Nice garden but not much taken care of.

Negative: Bit overprices for the extra purchase at the venue. Lots of power cuts in that area but that was in general so then there is no electricity nor wifi.

Summary: Very remote and not much going on. You need to get motorbike.

Positive: I love this place for the jungle aesthetics and comfortable bungalows. Tommy and Mameaw really took good care of me and made me feel at home. They organized trips, cooked delicious Thai dinners and BBQ's. The dogs are very sweet. Regulars have come here for years and have incredible stories. I was crying with laughter almost every evening. I'm a solo traveller and for me this was heaven for generating new encounters and encouraging everyone to hang out. Whether you like sitting at the bar or chilling in a hammock there are many spaces that facilitate new friendships and there's so much knowledge to tap into about what to do on the island. This place is a hub for the adventures you will have on Koh Chang whether it be with new friends you meet at Freedom home or old friends you bring along... or both! Bring good vibes and you will be right at home 🌞

Negative: The monkeys wake you up in the morning around 8am by jumping on the roof, but on the flipside you won't need to set an alarm :)
