Considered Southwest Michigan’s best-kept secret, Free Run Cellars and the Winemakers Retreat is that serene getaway that allows time to slow down as you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life to this mid-century home.
Overlooking a picturesque pond, this four (4) bedroom, three (3) bathroom home is the ideal location for a weekend adventure, family retreat, or couple’s getaway. Just steps away from our boutique, small-batch winery, up to eight (8) guests can discover the flavors of Southwest Michigan and embark on our Sip + Savor Trail. Between all six (6) Moersch Hospitality Group locations and their unique offerings, there is truly something for everyone, all located within five (5) miles of our Winemakers Retreat. Recently remodeled, this contemporary home manages to marry its original unique charm with modern amenities: including high-speed internet, air conditioning, and plenty of outdoor space to watch the sun setting over the vines with a glass of wine in hand.

Summary: Four couples stayed for a long weekend for a Saturday wedding in St. Joe. The house was perfect! Comfy beds, clean, well equipped, and the propery was beautiful! Would highly reccomend and would stay again!

Summary: This was a great house and great location. The bedrooms are very large for a rental with lots of storage. The beds are very comfortable and tons are quiet. They house was well stocked with paper products! The view off the back deck was beautiful and so peaceful. 20 miles from St Joe’s beach and a easy drive. We are already planning on staying again next year.
