Positive: Tranquillity, yet not too far away from 2 major cities. Dinner was exceptional, staff impeccable. Plenty on parking, grounds very relaxing with running-water garden features. Good size swimming pool with a deep end of about 1.6 metres, sauna & Steam room. Also had a small cardiovascular type gym (I personally didn't use, though rest of my family did). Many outdoor seating areas (including some rooms having their own verandas).

Negative: Having to leave! (to normal life)

Positive: Staff very helpful, room was really nice and spacious, loved being able to step right out onto the front patio from the sliding window in the main room, nice to have a seperate bath and shower. Lots of options for food and drinks at the hotel restaurant.

Negative: Room looked a little bare, furniture slightly old. Only one egg and one hash brown for breakfast!

Summary: Very nice place to come back to and relax after being quite busy in town every day.

Positive: Location was handy

Negative: Looking a bit dated. Paid an early check in fee as we were there an hour early, room was ready so the extra fee didn’t seem fair. No staff around when we checked out, left the key on the desk, received phone call 15 minutes later claiming we hadn’t paid for breakfast when we hadn’t had breakfast.
