Summary: Staff at the front end were personable, friendly and welcoming! We got a room next to the ice machine alcove—the noise of the machine traveled through the wall, including whenever guests got ice. The hvac system was also particularly a bit noisy. Altogether, we slept decently (may have been the jet lag) and were happy with the beds and room! We enjoyed a nice dinner at Moxie’s down the street (5-8min walk).

Summary: The hotel itself is nice. Beds comfortable and a really clean hotel. Nice staff. I could not believe the noise and sounds that came from the air conditioning/heating system, all night long. I heard what sounded like jet engines starting and taking off, to flying saucers landing and all sounds inbetween. One time, I thought I heard someone hauling some kind of machine through the back yard of the building. I got up and looked out the window, but it was coming from within the walls and ceiling of this building. Add in the sounds from Kevin McAllisters boiler furnace in the basement of his home, on "Home Alone". Oh Yah ! It was not a good night. At first I thought this can't be real, but it was. No quiet at this hotel. Outside of this issue, it was a nice place to stay. I had no sleep and had an early trip to Saint John before coming home. Had this been a two nice stay, I would have probably been downstairs to cancel the next night. I am a person who needs their sleep.

Summary: During our stay, the elevator was out of service the entire time. While the staff kindly assisted with our luggage, I had to use the stairs multiple times. This would usually be manageable, but I’ve been undergoing physio and treatment for knee, foot, and lower back pain over the past few months. Had I known about the elevator issue, I would have chosen different accommodations. The staff were courteous and did offer to move us to a first-floor room upon request. Unfortunately, that room had significant wind noise and didn’t feel fully prepared. A small gesture, such as complimentary breakfast or treats, would have gone a long way, especially seeing many guests struggling up and down the stairs with heavy luggage. If the elevator had been functioning, I would have rated this stay five stars. The room was quiet and we had a great rest overall. However, the lack of proactive communication or meaningful follow-up made the experience disappointing. I recommend calling ahead to confirm all amenities are in working order, especially if you have any mobility or medical concerns.

Summary: Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location. May be personal preference, but found the combination of a quite firm mattress with super soft/non supportive pillows uncomfortable. After 2 nights by back and neck were quite sore.

Summary: There was no hot water and the air conditioner did not work! The room was hot when we walked in and we were not able to cool it down! Very very uncomfortable!
