Positive: I liked the home feeling and the water on property. The beds was comfortable.

Negative: The internet didn't work well in the room. It worked the best downstairs in the living room area.

Positive: I loved the ambience and historic vibes! Beautiful property, comfortable stay and friendly helpful staff. Plan to go back next summer. It felt like we went back in time! Close to lots of great travel spots.

Negative: Bathroom down the hall but that is part of the old fashion appeal. Some of the outdoor stairways looked unsafe.

Positive: Everything! The staff were very friendly! Expansive property on Lake Leelanau. Beachfront with comfy chairs. Comfy cottage with all necessities. Availability of kayaks, paddleboards, croquet, shuffleboard, ladderball. It was interesting to view the museum filled with treasures from the past.the lodge has a great front porch filled with comfortable furniture.

Positive: It was like stepping back in time. Authentic atmosphere was warm and inviting, well kept but not pretentious. So much to do on the grounds and in the game parlor, great escape from TV.
