Positive: Clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Plenty of towels, crockery, glasses and kitchen utensils. Location on the Pennine Way and adjacent to an excellent brewery tap were perfect!
Negative: The tin opener didn’t work. Welcome pack was basic. Fresh milk would have been better than UHT. Not enough T towels. Soap dispensers and hair and body products were either empty or very low.
Summary: A perfect location for our walking group, offering a good standard of accommodation which was very clean and well kept

Summary: Had a wonderful weekend away 6 adults & 1 toddler. Would return and 100% recommend.

Positive: It was in a beautiful area of Northumberland and the bedrooms were nice and spacious
Negative: There were 6 adults btwn mid 50 to 70 years of age and the small sofa seating arrangement meant that only four of us could sit on comfortable seating at a time and the other two had to sit on dining room chairs! Not ideal, and if we had stayed longer this would have been a real problem
Summary: Great cottage and beautifully placed but felt like a two up two down terrace extended upstairs to a accommodate more bed

Positive: Excellent location and fab property. Lovely facilities and very clean. Easy from start to finish. great welcome items left (milk/coffee/tea/bread etc.)
Negative: It would be good if the heating was programmed to be on for arrival time as the house was freezing (10 degrees) when we got there and we had to sit with coats on for an hour until it warmed up. There were no bin liners at all - even in the bin so had to try and find carrier bags to use to collect rubbish - would be handy to leave some under the kitchen sink. One of our party had a nasty reaction when using the hot tub (second time as same thing happened last year) so not sure if its the chemicals used but doesn't happen anywhere else we go.
Summary: Really lovely relaxing weekend away in a gorgeous property.

Positive: Lovely modern house plenty of space great hot tub and sun loungers for the summer. 2 en-suite bathroom which were beautiful and a main bathroom with a big bath. 5 min walk into town with a shop and few pubs .
Negative: a couple of dirty food trays had been put away without them been cleaned, so just need double checking next time but obviously didn’t spoil our weekend

Positive: Hot tub size, garden and fire pit brilliant, access and parking brilliant, kitchen area very comfortable, upstairs roomy and comfortable.
Negative: Flush broken in the small en-suite, plug extremely difficult to unplug in the bath, only one black towel provided for outdoor use, seating area in the lounge far too small for the number of people - beds sleep 8, corner sofa only comfortable for 4/5 adults. Hot tub so chlorinated it hurt your eyes and when steam inhaled.
Summary: Brilliant cottage in lovely location with great facilities.
