Positive: Excellent value. Rooms were spacious and clean. Mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed, though very firm (which I prefer). Gentleman at the front desk was kind and quick to help.

Negative: Pillows were wafer thin. Sparse toiletries (bring extra shampoo, etc.). One coffee pouch in room and that was it for coffee. Walls between rooms don't block a ton of noise. When leaving in the morning, nobody came to desk after I rang the bell. I prefer to personally check out to make I didn't miss anything. Just had to drop the keys off this time.

Summary: Excellent value, no frills.

Positive: The Foster Inn is close to the University of Illinois. Trying to book a room in Champaign is difficult and expensive. The Foster Inn is perfect for families with a student at UIUC.

Negative: I have no complaints.

Positive: Not fancy place but clean and the husband/wife were very helpful, had problem turning refrigerator on(no knob) wife came down and turned it on!!,note to self,, put a pair pliers in my SUV

Negative: Door locked oddly ,when I left the room took several tries to lock it.parking was odd?!big white pickup was in front of my door,didn’t see handicapped parking

Positive: We needed a place to sleep while visiting the U of I. Check in was quick. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. If you are looking for a quick layover while traveling the Foster Inn should work well.

Negative: A shower did not function in one of the rooms.

Positive: The front desk girl was super kind. The room was clean. Easy to find. Not far off 72. The bed was comfortable. Needs updated but doesn't smell like cigarettes! Thank goodness!

Negative: The place needs updated and the pillows weren't great.

Positive: I liked the friendliness of the staff . The ease of checking in. And the affordable price. The bed was comfortable and clean bed and bath.

Negative: The Ac didn't work real well. The deadbolt didn't lock, it was offset. Pillows were flat and hard.

Summary: Could have been comfortable if the ac worked properly and could have locked the deadbolt.

Positive: Great Value for a clean room. Owners are friendly. In a very peaceful area. Be sure to visit Allerton Park; I was not aware of this area but it you have to see it if you have the time.

Negative: Not much to add. I requested a quiet room and the owners accommodated me. This place is a great value

Summary: Wasn’t ever planning on coming back but this place and Allerton park will bring me back some day
