Positive: Very comfortable large room, good shower and stored our bikes in the room. We had to cycle about 20 minutes away to get dinner. Breakfast was OK, friendly hosts.

Negative: Some fresh fruit at breakfast.

Summary: Nice big clean room in an interesting fort.

Positive: The location was great, right by the Waal. And the rooms were cool--very much appreciated in a heatwave. We had our own terrace which was also very welcome. Appreciate that it is run by a stichting.

Negative: Polyester bathtowels. And the room was not serviced during our five-day stay (I get the impression that most people stay only a night or two: the staff seemed surprised that we would stay so long).

Summary: Highly recommended as a quirky and casual place to stay, in historic and beautiful surroundings.

Positive: The interior of the apartment and the location were amazing. Having the outdoor area was really good for the family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the space combined with the laidback but luxury style were great.

Negative: The acoustics in the dining area and bathroom of the suite were poor and the fridge in the kitchen didn't seem to work well considering the need for the family. The lighting was difficult to control. The bathroom sinks etc were also very high.

Summary: A magical place to spend an alternative weekend with family and friends.

Negative: I arrived late... around 9.30. There's no reception, it was a little dark and not a lot of information to find my room. I met the owner by chance when I went outside and she was very friendly and helpful
