Summary: For a motel, it is quite basic, which is to be expected given its location in a popular tourist area. We anticipated a 1 or 2-star establishment and were pleasantly surprised to find it exceeded our expectations, feeling more like a 3-star. It is indeed quite basic, so please do not expect the amenities of a Hilton or other chain hotels. The room perfectly suited our needs, as we primarily used it for showering and sleeping after our daily excursions into town. It featured air conditioning, a fire pit with a view of the north side of the lake, and comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed having our own fire pit. Logs for the fire are available for purchase at reception, though we found them for $3 at IGA. We sampled the breakfast in the morning and ordered L'assiette du capitaine; the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff members are very friendly. The sunsets here are truly remarkable, so we highly recommend experiencing them! My only minor concern was the presence of several earwigs, which my husband promptly took care of. A helpful tip would be to avoid leaving items on the ground or too close to the walls.

Summary: It’s amazing place to stay for the view and ambience that it offers. Me and my family stayed in Chalet. Unit has a standing AC and table fan in a room but I think they should provide table fan in other room as well. Overall our stay at Fort Prevel was amazing due to stunning view of the bay. Management should look into having the rooms cleaned properly. Overall stay was enjoyable and units are comfortable. Will recommend it.
