Positive: Spacious, good location, interesting history to the house, responsive owner. Our super kingsize bed was very comfortable.

Negative: A couple of the appliances/fittings were showing wear and need repair/replacing.

Summary: We enjoyed the character of the property and our stay, and the Dales were as fabulous as ever!

Positive: Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, ideal location- sitting in lounge watching the horses walk past on the morning on their way to the gallops. Fish and chip shop food was delicious and the Dante arms did amazing food- all home made.

Negative: Nothing : it had a nice homely feel to it. If I was to be a bit nip picky would say the dining room was a bit chilly.

Summary: Lovely relaxing couple of days following visiting middleham for the open day which was a great day out.

Positive: Lovely old cottage in a beautiful location. Well equipped kitchen. Loads of games, and we particularly enjoyed the air hockey table, which was an unexpected bonus. As was seeing the race horses coming and going each day. Lovely!
