Positive: Very warm and comfortable cottage, which kept us safe from the horrible Scottish weather outside during most of our stay. We loved the modern kitchen, and sitting in the bright conservatory, chatting, reading, drinking tea and eating the delicious brownies, freshly cooked by our hostess, watching the weather and the wildlife. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring the area, and is very near the coast, with local walks available. Our hostess met us on arrival with our keys, and was very welcoming.

Negative: The position of the cottage is not quite correct in Booking.com though detailed directions were provided by our hostess which were very accurate. As a result, we were slightly surprised and disconcerted by the property being 100 yds down an unmade farm track, which wasn’t actually too bad once you knew what you were doing.
