Positive: The location is very relaxing. The 1 bedroom cottage is very large. The couch and the bed were very comfortable. Please not, the TV is in the bedroom. Not in the lounge. Same goes for the fire place. I thought it was very thoughtful to have some wood and fire lighters available. Not sure if they were provided by the host or the previous guests though. There is a lot information available of what things to do.

Negative: A manual to tell us how the operated the stove, since it didn't want to heat up. We could have reached out to ask, but we used the frying pan instead. Problem was... the croissants got a bit burnt. The green pool which also had a dirty floor. Would have been nice to have a warning about that before our arrival. Fortunately we were able to go home for a swim. We had severe loadshedding that weekend. There weren't many lights/lightbulbs that would give light during loadshedding at night. We were lucky that we did bring some ourselves. Just be aware to bring a few items for that, otherwise you might be stuck in the dark.

Positive: Stunning and ns peaceful house super well equipped with a beautiful view Big garden with a little trail in the forest. Books for children available Very nice host who offered to change sheets and towels regularly as we staying a long period of time.

Negative: The pool didn’t seem to be maintained properly as the water wasn’t as translucide as it should be and lots of particules were floating (leafs, insects, etc). We had to clean it ourselves. Overall the house was clean however we noticed lots of dog/cats hair upon arrival . The owner sent the cleaning lady to clean who said she only had a broom (to clean approx 80-100m2). Repairing the vaccuum may be necessary ;)

Positive: Views were absolutely stunning! Caron was a very hospitable hostess. Bed was comfortable with crisp white linen, and we were provided with a heater that kept the chill off in the evenings.

Negative: Bath towels provided were small. it would have been great to have a large and small towel each. The hot water gas geyser for the bath was not very effective, so we didn't use it, which was disappointing. Interior could definitely do with a coat of paint.
