If you're intrigued, consider using it during your stay! For those seeking adventure, explore the scenic walking trail that stretches along the landing strip or visit our two airplane hangars and the intriguing old gas tank on the property. There's also a well-maintained entrance leading to a wooden trail that guides you directly to the river. While the river might not be deep enough for swimming, we provide comfy lawn chairs to let you soak up the serene atmosphere, and the setting is nothing short of peaceful perfection! Don't forget to bring your fishing gear for some angling by the river. The water's depth is just right for children to wade in and have playful fun. We know, contracts aren't the most exciting part of your getaway, but to keep our home safe, we'll need you to sign a quick rental agreement upon booking (this will be sent to you, after you book) — then it's all fun from there! 2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.
3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.
4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.
5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.

Summary: The cabin and the property was beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire pit and seeing the wildlife. The only downside was the cabin could use some closet space. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We stayed at this lovely house for our anniversary weekend, seeking a peaceful retreat to enjoy nature. The property exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making meal prep a breeze. We loved spending time by the outdoor fireplace, relaxing on the swings, and sitting in the river. The highlight was definitely stargazing from the porch and the expansive field – the night sky was breathtaking! Summary: The location of the house to Cherry Springs State Park was perfect, and it was less than an hour to the Grand Canyon of pa . The house was fully equipped with everything we needed the only thing was the portable air conditioner was not enough to cool the whole place , fortunately for us it was not hot the whole time we were there. I recommend this place for your next getaway very private , clean and well maintained.

Summary: Pros: The inside of the house was clean and as described. Kitchen pans, appliances and utensils were great. There’s a small portable icemaker (no ice trays) so bring a bag of ice if you need more. Only 1 portable A/C unit. Enough to cool a bedroom or the main area of the house. There are portable fans and the temperature cools down in the evening. Opening the windows helped. If you plan on sleeping in the loft in the summer, it will be sweltering. Fun property to explore. Sitting by the river was relaxing. Cons: The outdoor furniture cushions don’t seem to get stored away or covered at all so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy those spaces. The cushions to the porch couch were covered in dirt, mold and spiderwebs. The egg chairs were pooled with algae filled water. One cushion was torn and the chairs had spider webs all over them. The outdoor dining table was covered in bird poop due to a nest that was made in the light fixture above the table. So we were unable to sit outside and eat. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit were ok. They had bird poop all over them too but we cleaned off a couple and were able to sit there. There were a lot of wasps around the house as well. The host was receptive and attempted to correct what issues we had but unfortunately there wasn’t enough time to take care of things since we were only there 2 nights.

Summary: We had a great time at this house. We were close to PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua Bridge, and Cherry Springs State Park. ~ 1.5 hours to Saw Mill Ski. Fantastic stargazing on the property. House is clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. It snowed while we were there and I was nervous about access to the house, but owner had everything plowed/ shoveled before we arrived.

Summary: 6 adults. The property was exactly like the pictures on the site. House was very clean, had comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked ( no food, but prep and cook items). Everything in the house was in working condition. The stairs to the loft and the loft were a challenge for our 6’2” friend, but he made it work. We were able to maintain a comfortable temperature by opening windows at night and using the air conditioner during part of the daytime. We gathered to celebrate the life of a friend who passed well before his time. It was a special time for all of us.

Summary: The property the house sits on is amazing. The house looks just as pictured in the photos. Everything you need to have a great getaway! My 18 yo loved the basketball hoop in the 2nd airplane hanger. You really have to explore the property to find the 2nd hanger and the river. I think the size of the property blew us away. Living area, kitchen and dining are all nice sized. The bedrooms are a little small but we figured we’d be outside most of the time anyway. There is only one portable ac in the main living area so the bedrooms do get a little warm. There are fans provided. We opened our windows and put the fan in the window and it was comfortable. Kinzua bridge is a must see!! Overall it was a great getaway for my friends 40th birthday!

Summary: The home is absolutely lovely and spotless! We enjoyed the seclusion of the home while still being in easy distance of town. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the amazing outdoor area - so I think we will have to make a return trip. :-) Due to the poor weather, a helicopter made a surprise landing on the airstrip, which our group really enjoyed seeing.
