Positive: The location is sensational. The views from the house across to Arran are amazing.

Negative: There were a couple of things in the house that didn't work perfectly, though they were still functional.

Positive: Location was good with spectacular views from the living room / front of the house. Good flexibility as we had 2 double and 2 twin rooms so plenty of options for sleeping

Negative: my only disappointment would be around the property being more dated that I expected - would be perfect otherwise. The showers weren't modern so not very powerful and general cleanliness could have been a bit better a biscuit wrapper behind bedside cabinet etc.

Summary: Friendly owner, beautiful location and good sized property which was good value for money.

Positive: Great location for us. We were there to play golf and all courses were half hour drive or less. Didn't really use the kitchen apart from having tea/toast in mornings but kitchen had everything you would want. The view from the living room window is stunning & the dark sky in the area provided an incredible view of stars. Difficult to "rate" the hosts as we never met them but messages/texts were answered quickly to ensure we didn't have any problems getting into the property on arrival.

Negative: Only thing that I would fault is the electric shower over the bath, however the shower in the other bathroom was great so we both used that.

Summary: Great quiet location, house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Positive: The view was great. Facilities was very good, everything you need in a holiday house.

Negative: Bathrooms had rotten hair in the plug holes which hadn't been cleaned for ages. Black mold around bath and shower tray whic was ground in and hadn't been scrubbed for years. Dust in corners and on skirting boards which should have been cleaned. Cupboards in kitchen were dirty. No sheets or light blankets for warm weather.

Summary: Great view. Good location. Lots of space inside and out. Safe place to park.7
