Positive: Sally made us feel very welcome in every possible way: she messaged early about breakfast choices, she tidied the room during our stay (which we weren't expecting) and the room was spotless and well-equipped when we arrived (including welcome Toblerone and biscuits). Breakfast was perfection, with homemade produce available - and ample of everything! Mike and Sally worked hard to make our stay as amazing as possible, for which we were very grateful.

Positive: The location of the bed and breakfast was ideal for our trip to Whitby. The bedroom was comfortable, warm and spacious with 2 comfy armchairs. The bathroom was big with a lovely roll top bath and power shower. Everything you needed and more was provided ...the usual shampoo, bubblebath and soap and extras like plasters, toothpaste and remedies for insect bites. There was cereal and fruit for breakfast with a substantial Yorkshire cooked breakfast and toast with 4 different home made preserves.

Positive: It was nice to have bed and breakfast, but in a separate annex, rather that a room in the main property. Also the mini fridge was a welcome bonus, because we could have fresh milk, rather than the UHT cartons that are usually provided.

Positive: Fantastic room, spacious with a wonderful bathroom. Real attention to detail, I've never stayed in such a well equipped B&B room. Lots of thoughtful touches, meaning you'd never be without. A brilliant nights sleep was had' sleep in a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and kept us going all day. Wonderful and friendly hosts who made us very welcome. It was also nice to be greeted by some friendly chickens too! We're definitely hoping to come back.
