Positive: The location was beautiful, idyllic and so peaceful. Inside was so comfortable and cosy and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Sally and Mike were the perfect hosts with the most beautiful breakfast to start the day and so much information about the area and advice of places to go. This made our holiday.

Positive: Sally made us feel very welcome in every possible way: she messaged early about breakfast choices, she tidied the room during our stay (which we weren't expecting) and the room was spotless and well-equipped when we arrived (including welcome Toblerone and biscuits). Breakfast was perfection, with homemade produce available - and ample of everything! Mike and Sally worked hard to make our stay as amazing as possible, for which we were very grateful.

Positive: The location of the bed and breakfast was ideal for our trip to Whitby. The bedroom was comfortable, warm and spacious with 2 comfy armchairs. The bathroom was big with a lovely roll top bath and power shower. Everything you needed and more was provided ...the usual shampoo, bubblebath and soap and extras like plasters, toothpaste and remedies for insect bites. There was cereal and fruit for breakfast with a substantial Yorkshire cooked breakfast and toast with 4 different home made preserves.
