Positive: We had an amazing stay at folly Farm Cottage,such a beautiful place! Cottage was gorgeous,immaculate in every room! Would definitely stay there again.

Negative: Just 2 minor things. No big mirror in the 2nd double bedroom and we struggled with the aga! Took a long time to cook.

Positive: We loved our stay at the cottage. It was really comfortable and had everything we could need as a family of 4. Spacious, great location and lovely hosts 😊 We would absolutely stay again!

Negative: Nothing I can think of…The master bedroom bed was super comfy and big and the other double slightly less so (but still perfectly good!)

Positive: Everything was perfect. The location is ideal, just 5 minutes by car from St Ives. The cottage is beautifully decorated and surrounded by fields and cliffs, perfect for peaceful walks. We loved every bit of our stay. The host was really kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Negative: The only small downside was the shower, which was a bit tricky to use—it was difficult to get the temperature just right.

Positive: The cottage and host were exceptional. It is by far the best home from home I have ever stayed in. Martyn is super friendly and welcoming: this used to be his family home and you can feel the love he still has for it. The quality of the decor, furnishings, kitchen equipment (including AGA), bed linen, towels and appliances are all provided to give you a lux feel to your stay. Which is a personal bug bear of mine, you pay money for being away, you expect more than "cheap and basic" .... this was completely the opposite. Fresh scones on arrival and milk in the fridge. Heating was on so warm and welcoming on arrival.... blustery Cornish weather when we got there. I cannot use any more superlatives to express the outstanding quality and experience of the cottage. Do not hesitate to book; if St Ives is where you want to be, stop scrolling book this place.
