Positive: An elderly building, our room (except the furniture) and bathroom (state of the art!) completely renovated. Bed in my personal opinion too soft. Balkony with own chairs. Car parking for free. All staff was great. Restaurant/breakfast (3) almost perfect (except their scrambled eggs: it seemed to be "powder-made"); Restaurant/dinner (2): Fletcher Burger and siders recommended, drinks (no wines available) as well. Again: great staff! And, not kidding, three further reservations (12/25; 04/26; 07/26) are already made (for my wife´s got relatives close by).

Negative: Not too much: the eggs (see above). We missed an attempt to provide missunderstandig with a certain fish at the menu (but: after having cleared that, we received different substitute without complications). As I mentioned it: great staff!

Summary: We´ll be back (soon and frequently).

Positive: We had booked a deluxe room, with balcony and separate toilet in addition to a bathroom. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom had both shower and a big bathtub. Also other amenities were available and I didn‘t miss anything. It was reasonably quiet and the breakfast was good.

Negative: There were large spots from water damage under the ceiling in the bathroom, and other signs at the doorframes etc which indicated that the hotel is not the newest. We traveled with friends who had booked two other (standard) rooms, and all of them reported that their room was very hot at night. Moreover, I did not feel very welcomed by the staff during check-in, but we were late and maybe his day had been a long one already. All in all ok, but not exceptional for the price we paid.

Summary: Comfortable, but not exceptional stay

Negative: Kind of old, worn out. Had to pay 6 euro extra tourist tax….after 10 you need to go the back side of ten hotel to get in via the “night entrance”….

Negative: As this hotel was just renovated, a few things were still missing in the rooms, like a box of tissues, no where to hang your towels or clothes in the bathroom, no soapdish to put your soap or shampoo on. A bit dark bathroom.
