Positive: All was great, room was big, beds comfy and shower good. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was goed as the breakfast. An employee made me a specials decaf capuccino with oatmilk :-).

Negative: nothing

Summary: Super stay close to beautiful Zutphen and Posbank.

Negative: There was dust and dirt on the bedstand and top side of the mattress on one of the beds. The rooms were lacking ambiance, the place felt like an old people's home, utilitarian rather than hospitable or cozy. The rooms felt like hospital rooms. The bathroom, particularly, was outdated and ugly. The Sauna and swimming pool were closed for renovation, and this was not clearly mentioned on Booking.com when I booked, as I particularly filtered for it. The price of 182 for a family room was overpriced for the value we got. The room barely met a 3-star hotel standard. There wasn't even a place to put our suitcase properly. The place was full of weird smells in the hallways. The emergency exit was open wide at 23:00 and the next morning I noticed the fence to the emergency escape stairs was also open. In both cases I alerted the staff and they seemed extremely surprised. This is not the kind of thing you want to experience at a hotel. In the restaurant service was unattentive. I literally had to go find them twice just so we could place our order. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Croissants were gone as soon as they were delivered, meaning often you had to wait 10 minutes for new ones to be provided. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this wasn not a good one. The beds were uncomfortable (too soft), the pillows especially, leaving both me and my mother with sore necks and joints from posture.

Positive: Situated in greenery in a beautiful little village. Well worth a walk around especially if you turn right and right again. I had a lovely swim in the pool. Helpful staff at reception. Pleasant breakfast.

Negative: My sister in law and I prefer single beds. We couldn’t really separate the mattresses but the bed was easily big enough for the 2 of us.

Positive: The location is great. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. We really enjoyed the small indoor pool , a perfect spot to relax after a day out.

Negative: The mattresses were not comfortable at all. They were so soft that you would sink into them and end up tilting during the night.
