Positive: I like that the location was near the Hauptbahnhof (ease of access when you want to explore around Frankfurt or need to catch your train to the Airport or to the next city for travel or business), the size of my room (very spacious compared to so many hostels I previously travelled to), the price of the stay (quite surprising for a major city like Frankfurt), and the staff (very friendly and accommodating). The lounging area was something I didn't expect but was really a great amenity to have in such a hostel.

Negative: I think having privacy curtains in each bed would have been suitable to give each guest a little bit of privacy. The location, strangely was also not completely safe as a foreigner and a solo traveller (when people joked or stereotyped about how there are so many drug addicts around the vicinity of the Hauptbahnhof, they were not joking!). Additionally, rule number one of using a pepper spray: Do. Not. Use. Them. Indoors! Ever (This is a different story altogether).

Positive: Staff is helpful and friendly! Near the central station. There was an old A/C on my room wglhich is rare in hostels.

Negative: It's literally located in the worst part of the city: people using drugs everywhere and wandering around like zombies, yelling and asking for money. Street is noisy, dirty and unsafe. Rooms are old and uncomfortable, furniture is super old and needs a total revamp. The noise on weekend makes it impossible to sleep. Having said that, staff is nice and helpful, not their fault..
