Summary: The apartments are situated in the suburb of Ringsend which is more than walling distance to the main shopping precinct. We booked the apartment as we had been travelling for a number of days and required a washing machine before we continued our trip. We booked for 2 nights with the intention of having our chores done on the first night! When we arrived it soon became apparent that the machine was out of order. I called the property contact and they assured me the owner woild have it fixed the next morning, call me cynical but I just didn't have too much faith in that as the condition of the rest of the unit didn't show a lot of commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for their guests, the washing machine had hair on the front cabinet, the area beneath it was damp and had rubbish left there. The oven was so dirty that when it was on it brought tears to my eyes from the smell of burnt food, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The second double bed has a spring pushing through..... All in all there was simply no attention to detail. Price wise it was reasonable and we would have been happy if the advertised facilities had been available. Thankfully we followed our gut feeling and sought out a laundrette and our washing was done for us at a very reasonable price. The washing machine in the apartment remains out of order. I have been promised a refund on the cleaning charge and I have requested that our laundry costs are refunded as well. Calls to the prooerty manager have been less than satisfying as they simply have not returned calls after saying they would. My advice, pay a little more and stay closer to town.
