Positive: Breakfast was very good. Good to have a microwave to warm up food plus plates etc. Is nice, in the lobby area. Nice gin-tonic at the bar. Nice size of the rooms.

Negative: No fridge in the room. Light installed at headboard in bad position, not possible to lean against. Hotel needs renovation. Gym to be used is too costly and not in house.

Summary: I do recommend it because of the character and the breakfast.

Positive: Grand old lady, a style much appreciated. Needs updating and reno in most of the general areas. Beautiful breakfast/dining hall / superior breakfast fabulous selection in continental setting.

Negative: I enjoyed every aspect of the property itself. Hope it gets a facelift and would be really fabulous.

Summary: Reminiscent of past glory and deliciously different from mainstream hotels. Fab breakfast great staff / very accomod

Positive: One of the few hotels in Sweden that has warm rooms! Loved it!

Negative: Only one thing I hated: the elvator door cannot be stopped manually (I tried to stop it using my hand when my two years old was late getting in the elevator and couldn't, it closed in on my hand); it can be hazardous to little children.

Positive: Breakfast selection was outstanding. Shower pressure was good. Great location, easy to access, and close to the pretty harbour. Staff in the reception were responsive.

Negative: No air conditioning in the room, and no fans were placed there despite high summer heat and stuffy room. (We did get fans from the reception upon request). Sleeping was difficult on the first night. There was a leak under the shower frame which flooded the bathroom floor. Parking was an additional cost, and spots were not secured despite the cost. Quite expensive overall for the state of the facilities.

Summary: Nice staff, but expensive and mediocre.
