Positive: Great location close to the Castle, museum and the gardens. Very clean and new, no breakfast that I noted. Room was pretty large and comfortable.

Negative: I found a bag of trash under the bed , was scared at first as the bag was black and firmly closed I contacted the staff and they came to pick it They also offered to change the room

Positive: Location was excellent. Rooms were small but fairly normal by Japanese standards. Bed was comfortable.

Negative: One staff member was extremely rude, even aggressive. Complete breakdown of the usual Japanese courtesy. Basically overshadowed all the good things we did in Kanazawa. All the other staff were fine. But the individual in question was the desk clerk during our stay so we could ask for nothing and was tense coming back to the hotel.

Positive: Good location- very handy to castle, gardens and shops. Modern and clean.

Negative: Had to get my own pillow as the four on my bed were like rocks! The cafe did not seem to be open for breakfast as advertised!

Summary: Great location, very clean and modern. No where to hang clothes except four coat hangers on the wall.

Positive: The proximity to KenRokuEn was wonderful! The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and polite. I would stay there again.

Negative: If they offered bfreakfast.

Positive: I loved the breakfast!! However a traditional American breakfast eater might struggle a bit because it was authentic Japanese and not eggs, bacon, toast and jelly. I love the fact the breakfast was very different on each of the three mornings.

Negative: The room was very small and the beds were extremely close together. But it was very clean, quiet and comfortable!!

Summary: Fabulous location. Super quiet and comfortable! I’d definitely stay there again!
