Positive: There's a sign on the door that says something like "You arrive as guests and leave as friends." This is 100% accurate. The owners are really nice people and we had a great time just sitting and chatting with them.

Negative: Very picky but we would have liked some hooks in the room to hang coats, etc.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the terrific decoration and attention to every detail in the cabin. The cozy cabin made it feel like a true home, perfectly blending with rustic charm. The kindness shown to my family was exceptional. The employees and the family who run the lodge greeted us with such warmth and made us feel so welcome. They were always available to assist with anything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it truly made a difference. One of the highlights for our little one was playing with their lovely dogs. The staff took such great care to make sure our child was safe and happy while interacting with the pups—it was a joy to see! And the breakfast? Hands down, the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a lodge. Delicious, hearty, it was the perfect start to our days exploring South Lake Tahoe.
