Positive: The hotel is located in a lovely small town, with a beautiful view towards the water. We appreciated having a private bathroom and were also provided with a small fridge, which made our stay much more convenient. The location was good for exploring Hólmavík and the surrounding area.

Negative: The room and bathroom felt quite dated and were both very small, especially the shower. Breakfast was not included in the room price and was quite expensive as an extra. There was also some noise early in the morning from someone speaking loudly on the phone. The main entrance was locked quite early, which was slightly inconvenient.

Summary: A convenient place to stay in a charming town, although the room was small and rather dated.

Positive: Clean and cosy room. Perfect view on the fjord, I could sit watching it for hours. Very convenient parking, very friendly staff.

Negative: I had the room next to the breakfast room so woke up at 6:30…much earlier than wished.

Positive: Lovely small place, very friendly people. Just felt like home. Can highly recommend. Restaurants were closed though since I arrived late and it's a small town. The girl that was helping me even checked if anything was still open

Negative: The hotel is poorly isolated. We could feel the wind in the room. You could also hear everything that happens in the hallway. There was no place to hang up our clothes/jackets.
