Positive: It was a lovely cottage with with all the amenities that you needed. Unfortunately we used it more as a place to sleep. It would be lovely place if dogs were allowed downstairs with a stair gate, but understand the reason why they are not. It was beautiful location and a well put together cottage with lovely interior design.

Negative: The only thing would be the smell from the upstairs bathroom, the drains had very strong sewage smell.

Summary: Lovely little cottage!

Positive: This cottage is quite extraordinary. It's a new build, but I thought until the second day (when we read some of the information and looked a little closer) that it was a modernisation of an old cottage. It's not fitted out as well as our home - it's far better! - a lesson in design indeed. It's relaxing to be in, as well as inspiring for our next home improvements! The owners put great care into our welcome too. I particularly appreciated the coffee, homemade muesli and wine! What brought the owners to put such huge love and care into a rented, moderately-priced property I have no idea, but for their gift we are really grateful - we really, really needed that break!!

Negative: I'm in danger of sounding like one of those fake reviews on Tripadvisor, but truly nothing I can think of. Oh, I remember, the blinds in the bedroom could be thicker if you find that early morning light wakes you. We tend to travel with those eye shades you get on planes which was helpful. But truly, dear owners, don't change them for us - you've done more than enough already!!
