Positive: In this property, what we liked most was the owner, Tonya. It is a pity that she is leaving this business to pursue another career. Out of the 9 hotels on this road trip (in Spain and Portugal), we never met such a charming host as Tonya. She had prepared lists of restaurants for us, she treated us generously with breakfast, and she even got up earlier than us to prepare breakfast on the day we needed to leave early for Caminito del Rey. Another rare advantage is the parking spot. Here you park easily — no circling around looking for public parking. The place is a great starting point for Córdoba, Granada, and Caminito del Rey.

Positive: The location is wonderful, quiet and in the middle of nature. You can go for a short hike directly from the finca. Tonya is a very friendly person, also are her two dogs. The breakfast was fantastic: fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, etc. The room was clean and the bathroom also. Air conditioning was working well. There are at least three restaurants that can be easily reached by foot (5 min and 15 min). We tried Restaurante Meijas in Salinas (15 min) and can recommend it (great food, friendly staff). From the finca, you can also reach easily different Andalusian attractive towns and interesting places like Iznájar, Torcal, Córdoba, Málaga, etc. The pool was refreshing, we enjoyed it a lot. Thanks Tonya for this wonderful week-end!
Negative: Our room was a bit small (but it was the smallest one; Tonya showed us another room, with much more space and bigger bed. So we'll certainly book this one next time), and the bed was a bit narrow for us. You can only lock your room when you are inside, not when from the outside when you leave. Although the finca is obviously a safe place, I think there should be an option to lock your room at any time - for privacy protection. A little shelf would have been nice in the bathroom, with two glasses to put your toothbrushes. But these are little details; we loved the place!
