Positive: Sophisticated boutique property close to a rugged beach in its own valley. Fantastic staff who were very helpful whilst we were there with suggestions and local knowledge and after we had left when we realised we had left a few small item behind.

Positive: Good value and beautiful property in a remote location close to an small secluded cove and a 10 minute drive to Luarca, free parking on site, helpful and friendly host, comfortable and clean room, great shower. The property was not offering dinner and it’s a challenging 30 minute walk to the nearest bar or restaurant in Luarca. We did the walk and there were beautiful views and, fortunately, we found a €10 taxi back.

Negative: Nothing really but if you are a nervous driver or have mobility issues just be aware the property is in a remote location accessed via a narrow unlit road with plenty of gradient.

Summary: Good value in a beautiful remote location with parking, ideal for a one night stay on our road trip around Northern Spai
