Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The house is incredible. It's like stepping back in time. If you love vintage 50's you have to stay here Everything that you need such as air conditioning, internet, etc. is updated but it is incredible how pristine the house is. The condition of the pink tiles in the bathroom are incredible. Most houses of that age have many broken and missing tiles but this house is unbelievable. The furniture is 50's era and in fantastic shape. The beds were comfortable. The river is beautiful. The house is set back from the road and is secluded except for a few neighbors on the small residential street. I would definitely stay here again.

Negative: We spent a lot of time on the back porch and it would have been nice if there was more seating out there. The water is not city/county water so it has a distinct odor but we drank bottled water so it wasn't a problem.

Summary: This house is unique and very special. Don't miss it.

Positive: The landscape, the view, the comfortable and pleasant living room and bed rooms. The house from the 50's is kept in very good condition. The bathrooms seems to have the charming original tile, but looking as new. The sun room is also a very pleasant place to sit with a nice view of the property and the water. The futon seats there become extra beds.

Negative: The water is hard and has a slightly smell of sulfur.

Summary: Perfect accomodation for our group. Weelcoming hosts, comfortable interior, near beautiful Beaufort.
