Positive: The communication between the hosts and myself was exceptional. The accommodation was modern, clean, and very comfortable for my friends and I. On-site parking for our bikes 🏍 was a bonus. The house is situated right in the middle of Cochem.

Positive: Location was very good, practically in the centre of town and beside lots of cafes etc. The overall size of the property and bedrooms were nice. Also complimentary jams and wine was a nice touch.

Negative: There were a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. Parking as was not close by - it was up a steep hill. Kitchen was a bit small and also the fact that the dining room/lounge was on the upper level meant it wasn’t of use as inconvenient. But the biggest issue was the abundance of spiders and cobwebs in every room.

Summary: Nice property in good location but… 🕸️🕷️

Positive: Nice, well equipped large apartment in the middle of Cochem Altstadt, perfect accomodation for longer stay in the Mosel region. As a bonus it also has a roof terrasse. The hosts are very kind and helpful, we were provided 2 parking spots as well. For sure we will come back next time.

Negative: Everything was fine.

Positive: Communication was excellent, welcome was 11 out of 10. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge, a huge fruit basket and dogbtreats for the dog (that's what clenched it). I thought price was a bit high for a small town in mid winter but they seemed to be comparable to other properties.

Negative: Just the price....thought it was a bit high for low season

Positive: Unexpected stocked up fridge on arrival - local wine, juice Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, choice of coffee machines Friendly host speaks English and German BBQ on the top floor balcony overlooking the town Board games Short walk uphill to the castle and down to the river for boat trips - ideal location for exploring up and down the Moselle Valley

Negative: Bathroom a little dated and crowded in the morning and evening with a family of teenagers and adults! Pillows a little squishy for my liking Struggling to think of any other downsides Parking close to the property a challenge but there is a multi-storey that costs 9 EUR / day about 500m away near the chair lift

Positive: A super apartment with everything we needed for a great stay. Roomy, clean and comfortable with many thoughtful touches. Wonderful bottle of wine and fruit-bowl on arrival:))). Excellent location 1 minute walk to main square. Great host - responsive and helpful. Many thanks

Negative: Parking is difficult in Cochem - though dropping bags easy enough maybe provide parking options/map upfront? Most parking not long term. Parkplatz Terneshaus is long term & affordable (10 minutes attractive walk ‘upriver’) Picky suggestions- The front door is ‘behind’ the property ( vis photo ) ..took us a minute to work this out! Street/ entry doesn’t really live up to the rest of the apartment ( a bit dirty and under-whelming? ) Dining out ideas provided but less useful to us as unfortunately our German is not good :/. Maybe even a short list of names? One can google the details.. With groups ( such as ours ) 2 keys could be useful - though the key lock helped
