Positive: We loved the open beauty of the property. Being surrounded by nature, including the three donkeys, was a welcome shift from the busy streets of Palermo and Naples. Domenico and Gabriella made us feel like we were part of their family in our temporary home. In fact, we kept extending our stay beyond our original plans because we were so relaxed and fulfilled. We quickly fell into a routine starting our days with breakfast at the big table and enjoying two dinners at the property featuring all the best Sicilian cuisine. Papa Vince wine and olive oil, produced from the property, were top notch and we look forward to trying to get them back in the States!

Positive: What an amazing spot in the heart of the countryside. Beautifully and aesthetically appointed in every way, so thoughtfully curated, lovely crisp bedding and luxurious towels. Personalized touches in the rooms make them unique and so inviting. The staff, Gaby and the chef were so warm and welcoming. We had a lovely four course meal in the beautiful and elegant dining area. The grounds are gorgeous with views of the hills and walking along the garden path to the pool, that has a panoramic view. Truly an exceptional stay at a special place. Also, breakfast with the tastiest and abundant spread. We hope to return!

Positive: Very quiet and relaxing stay. Comfortable bed. strong internet connection. The staff (especially Gabriela) was lovely and super accomodating.

Negative: The donkeys should be better taken care of. They don’t have a proper place in the shade to rest. Only a bit at the wall to the building. I also did not see any water for them.
