Negative: On arrival, it's dark, there's an aggressive dog opposite barking and bringing attention to us and we didn't know how to actually access the dial code on the lock box, as we weren't previously familiar with the mechanism. Clearer instructions on this i.e. there's a cover/flap that has to be flipped down, would be welcome. There is no frying pan. Cleanliness -- corners gather dust and seem to have been overlooked Towels didn't smell fresh and clean Gates not easy to close No bakery in the village

Positive: An attractive barn/farm building conversion, well laid out with all the facilities you need for a one night stay. The stairs are fairly steep. Not a problem for us but may prove tricky for little ones or the less able bodied.

Negative: Minor gripe was the lighting. As is common in such conversions there are a plethora of overhead halogen lights. We couldn't achieve a comfortable ambient lighting; the lights were full on or, basically, off. Perhaps a few table lamps would help. There were an extraordinary number of forks in the cutlery drawer 🤣. Positively overflowing!

Positive: Such a lovely space, quirky and spacious. Excellent value for money, use of washing machine and coffee machine were great. Easy check in Very responsive host Loved the location and the blinds on all the windows! The personal touches in the living area! Lovely, big bathrooms

Negative: We were a family of 6 so limited sofa seating and batteries in remote were gone (there were spares available but didn’t fit this remote)- we managed to watch TV using AirPlay but wasn’t easy. When cooking all the electric went out so we were in pitch black for a while to find the electrics had tripped. General property was clean but both bathroom floors were particularly dirty :( though we appreciate it’s a large property to quickly turnaround between guests and for the price we feel it was excellent value for money. Could do with more bowls in the kitchen :) we had to share. We only stayed one night so facilities were fine, we’d absolutely stay again and for longer but would appreciate storage in bedrooms for hanging/unpacking and mirrors!

Positive: This property exceeded my expectations. The host is extremely helpful and quick to respond to queries. There is a large LIDL and petrol station 5-10 min drive from the property. It is in an extremely quiet location and our family of 5 all had a great sleep. We couldn't have asked for more. The property is done up to a very high standard and was lovely and warm when we arrived. Hope to return again!

Positive: The house is beautiful, large, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need, and there are even toys available for the children. We loved the tree and the Christmas decorations. It truly feels like home. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the showers are lovely. There is a huge garden for the dog to run around in, and beautiful paths for walking. It is not an isolated place at all; it is situated in a peaceful and serene area where you can enjoy sunsets and dawns, with other houses nearby but max privacy. The self check-in is very convenient, with easy instructions, and reaching the house is really simple. Sophie was wonderful, always available via message and extremely kind. Supermarkets are just a 10-minute drive away, and Arras with its restaurants is about the same distance. We will definitely visit again! Thank you, Sophie, from all of us, our furry baby included.
