Positive: Set in a beautiful village, short walk to the train station. Lucas and family were very kind and accommodating to our needs and requests. Thank you 🤩

Negative: No cooking facilities, however, coffee machine and small refrigerator.

Positive: The room is very well located, 3 minutes walking from restaurant area and supermarkets. The host was very nice. The room had everything we needed for our one-night stay, including water bottles and coffee. The toilet is private but not inside the room. Very good experience overall.

Positive: The location was excellent for our hike of the 3 lakes. Clean property and friendly owner.

Negative: The only down side is we stayed in the summer and the room is in the basement with small windows. There is no fan so we got VERY hot during the night while sleeping. I Reccomend keeping the windows open as it gets cooler at night. The room is also pretty small for 2 people. But you pay for what you get.

Positive: Great location. Our host was very nice. it was well equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time. We had our own bathroom, but it was in a shared hall. it worked great and didn't bother us at all. But it could bother some. This place was a really good value. Appenzell can be expensive. if you stay three nights, you get the Apenzeller card that gives lots of benefits including riding some of the lifts for free. Highly recommend
