Summary: We stayed 5 days in Ferien Hotel Südharz. The hotel itself is newly decorated and is just beautiful. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony looking out onto a lavender garden. The linden trees were in blume and it's fragrance could be enjoyed from there. The free breakfast was good too. The only down side is that it is a little bit out of the way as far as grocery stores etc. I would also point out that the hotel was listed as being in Ellrich but it is acctually in Ellrich/Suederhayn, so if you put in just Ellrich , GPS can't get you there In spite of the out of the way aspect I would still highly recommend this place. Because it is so nice.
