Positive: We enjoyed staying in the very beautiful villa with a roof top terrace where we spent time reading in the afternoons. The house is covered in greenery, edible plants and beautiful flowers. We felt well taken care of from the beginning - including useful travel tips. We like hiking and the owner helped organize trips where we could enjoy the lush and calm nature around the lake, especially the Amboori area. Joyan and Avinash were our funny and knowledgeable guides. The home cooked meals were among the best we had in India. The lady of the house cooks traditional kerala food with own touch. We particularly enjoyed the variations of vegetarian dishes and the traditional banana leaf dinner. Though we cannot take the food with us, a good experience and dear memories we will. If you want to experience the Trivandrum area beyond the known spots, this homestay is a good place to start the experience

Positive: We had such a wonderful time at Fennys Nook. The place is beautifully made and everything so well maintained and clean. You just feel like home and the food cooked from the family is so tasty and everything prepared freshly at home. I hope we come again soon. Highly recommend!
