Positive: The apartment was possibly the best I have booked on this platform across the years. Excellent location, fabulous views from the large balcony of our 3rd floor apartment. Clean and spacious private parking within the building, a spacious lift. The apartment itself was clean and modern, just about a couple of years old. It had all amenities that we could wish for, and the bonus was that the fridge had some essentials like milk, juice, etc, which meant that we didn't need to go running to the supermarket to stock up when we landed up after 9 pm! There were even fresh fruits and cookies. And a special thank you to Helmut who met us when we arrived and handed over the keys... he was really warm and friendly - despite the late hour!
Negative: There was really nothing that we could fault. We just wished we could have stayed longer. If I'm compelled to find a flaw, I would say the apartment is perfect for a couple, perhaps a little cramped for three - the living/dining area was a bit cramped with the sofa-cum-bed, the dining table and a desk.
Summary: The three of us just wished we had a couple of days more to enjoy the place!

Positive: We chose Felsenkeller as our base from where we explored the Blackforest Region for 7 days. We could not have picked a better place. The Apartment was first class the fitttings and fixtures of the best quality and spotless. The touches provided by Helmut the ever so helpful host, made it feel like a home away from home. From the ground floor of the undercover secure carpark, to the terrace from which to overlook the Town of Waldkirch and the old Castle Ruins, a much-appreciated place to enjoy a drink after a day’s exploring, the property was cared for with attention to detail and pride. The location within a few minutes to walk to the main square is excellent to appreciate the many traditional restaurants. But the apartment also has a well-appointed kitchen if you wish to self-cater with all the equipment, one needs provided. A truly superb accommodation which we will come to visit again.
Negative: NOTHING
Summary: SIMPLY OUTSTANDING
