Feathers is the second of three Shepherd's huts at Nurstead Court, a 14th century Manor House set in beautiful rolling countryside.
The huts have been lovingly handcrafted by our master craftsman Jeff. Set amongst fields and trees the hut provides double, boutique accommodation with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including heating, a king size bed, ensuite shower room with toilet and a kitchen/dining area.
The space
There is a fridge, kettle and toaster but no cooking facilities. Plates, cutlery etc are provided if you would like to bring in food.
There is a stand provided for disposable bbqs (bbqs available to purchase £5 small/£7 large) you can bring your own disposable bbq and use the stand or bring a bbq on a stand.
There is a fire pit provided and bags of logs/firelighters are available to purchase (£10).
Please bring cash for bbqs/logs.
Outside there is a grassy area with a picnic bench and space for the firepit and bbqs.

Summary: Annabelle was a great host, and the hut is exactly as shown on the site. It is a great location, and the bonfire and bbq was a great way to end the evening I am already planning to return next year and book all 3 of them

Summary: First timers booking a shepherds hut and was totally blown away, such a beautiful hut amazingly decorated, spotless and soooo cosy. The views are amazing and was priceless sitting outside with the huge fire pit keeping us warm. Thanks to Annabelle and will definitely return
