Summary: Tl;dr: clean, efficient, friendly I am somewhat ashamed that I thought this might end up being a “love hotel” type of situation as the room advertised was so inexpensive. However, this facility is sparkling clean, and I mean CLEAN everywhere. I had the Standard Queen Suite (although “suite” is doing some medium-size lifting here, as there was no separate sitting area like you might imagine when you hear the word “suite”). This hotel appears to be a local chain around GDL. Room had queen bed, flat-screen tv, desk area under tv, closet with safe, mini-fridge, and two robes (!!!). Shower had good water temp/pressure, towels were branded with FCH logo and pretty high quality. Bath products were upscale. WiFi good. Beds were firmly comfortable. Staff spoke little English and were young (just an observation), but were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Look for Alexa if you need help in English. No noise from other rooms. Pool is in a courtyard surrounded by hotel, however is open for sun. Two blocks away from Plaza del Sol mall with Soriana, ATM, McDonalds, KFC, Starbucks, etc. Neighborhood quiet, little foot traffic around. Noticed women walking their dogs alone (I’d classify as above middle class but not quite upper MC). Seems to be more of a M-F business hotel, as occupancy picked up noticeably on Sunday evening. I’m very confident in saying that this hotel is the greatest value I’ve ever received for the money spent.

Summary: Despite my limited Spanish, my overall stay was great. Staff were really helpful. I left my watch in my room and I didn’t realised. It was the hotel that messaged me while I was already near the airport. The hotel’s receptionist handed the watch to a Uber driver who came to meet me at Guadalajara airport 30 minutes after. I’ll definitely stay there again.
